Dr Richard Strickland

Dr Richard StricklandRichard was born in Lincolnshire, England in 1941 and had an interest in music from an early age, singing and playing the piano in local music competitions. He was a chorister in the Kings College Choir, senior chorister in 1954, and later was involved in music societies at school and university with production of operettas, reviews and choral services.

Most recently, his ever deteriorating and croaky voice has been a part of a Barbers Shop Quartet, which until fairly recently gave concerts and entertainment on the local scene.
